Eva (Franks) Hamm
	Eva (Franks) Hamm, age 91, of Rockford, Ill., formerly of Pinckneyville,
departed from this life on Monday, February 7, 2005 at 8:10 p.m. in Alden
Nelson Debes Sub-Acute Complex, Rockford.
	Eva was born on January 25, 1914 in Carbon Hill, Ala., a daughter and oldest
child of Walter and Pearl (Lazenby) Franks.  She married George Bart Hamm on
December 24, 1936 in Pinckneyville and he preceded her in death on February
13, 1971.  She had one daughter, Patricia Jean (Hamm) Kujawa, who preceded
her in death in 2003.  She moved from Pinckneyville to Rockford in 1952, was
a timekeeper at Wood & Brooks, Rockford Drop Forge, a member of the 1st
United Methodist Church, Pinckneyville and a member of the International
Machinist Union.
	Survivors include one sister: Christine (Franks) Welch of Montgomery, AL,
one son-in-law: George Kujawa of Rockford, Ill., five nieces and two nephews.
	She was preceded in death by one daughter, two sisters: Ollie Glenn and Anna
B. Warren and one brother: Billy D. Franks.
	Funeral services will be held in Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Pinckneyville
on Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Jim Barnett
officiating.  Interment will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Pinckneyville.
	Friends may call at Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m.
until the time of services.
	Memorials may be made to National Alliance of Breast Cancer.
